Scientists named the best exercise for the heart


The combination of strength and aerobic exercise training is recognized as the best for the heart among obese people at high risk for diabetes and cardiovascular systems.
Moreover, if only deal with aerobic strength training - it does not give a positive result. During the experiment, scientists at Duke University Medical Center (United States , North Carolina ) invited 196 volunteers who suffer from obesity. They assigned them to three different exercise programs .



The first group was engaged in strength training 3 times a week. They practiced on simulators for different muscle groups. The second group of 2 hours per week of aerobic exercise performed on a treadmill. They were more than 12 miles per week. The third group did both types of exercise.
A quarter of the volunteers came from the experiment after 8 months. The rest of the instructions executed correctly scientists. By the end of the experiment have only 86 people.
It was found that the first group has an average of 0.7 kg. The risk of developing diabetes and cardiovascular disease has not decreased .
The second group dropped an average of 1.5 kg.
The third group dropped an average of 2 kg. In addition , they decreased diastolic blood pressure and thus the risk of diabetes and the " metabolic syndrome ."
